Casual Educational Assistant Evergreen Catholic Separate School Division is currently seeking Educational Assistants in Spruce Grove, AB for St. Joseph Catholic School (Pre-K to Grade4), St. Marguerite Catholic School (K-4) and St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic School (Grades 5-8). Rate of pay $18.90 / hour. Preference Given to Candidates with the Following Qualifications : Experience utilizing strength-based, trauma informed practices Experience working with students with diverse needs Able to effectively deal with crisis situation; physically able to lift and / or protect Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Certificate Mental Health First Aid or equivalent Diploma in child / youth care, Educational Assistant Certificate is an asset Required Documents : Current Resume Reference Letters Priest Reference Letter Criminal / Vulnerable Sector Check (dated within six months) Intervention Record Check (dated within six months) All schools in Evergreen Catholic recognize the critical role that teachers serve in the mission of the Catholic Church.
