Orientation & Onboarding / buddy shifts we be done in early February with clinicals starting as follows :

• HCAD1408 Clinical 2 : March 12 April 10 (160 hrs) MondayFriday days / evenings
• HCAD1405 Clinical 1 : April 15 April 28 (80 hrs) MondayFriday days / evenings
• HCAD1409 Practicum : April 15 April 28 ( Instructor supports learners remotely )

Position Summary

This flexible opportunity allows you to continue your professional practice while inspiring and guiding future Licensed Practical Nurses as they prepare to meet the growing demands of our health care system.

As a Practical Nurse Instructor you will play a vital role in shaping learner success by delivering high-quality instruction mentoring learners through clinical and lab experiences and fostering the skills knowledge and confidence required for their nursing careers. Youll benefit from flexible scheduling options while sharing your expertise building meaningful professional relationships and contributing to the future of health care in Alberta.

What Youll Do

Responsibilities encompass all faculty professional duties related to instructional delivery including teaching preparation; program and course development; evaluation; student support such as remediation and consultation; participation in special projects and College committees; and other related duties as assigned.
