Tasks

Advise senior executives on environmental issues related to the company's activities
Assess the capacity of an envisaged solution to recover residual materials and avoid their burial
Conduct research
Document investigations and conclusions/recommendations
Evaluate the efficacy of air pollution control devices
Monitor budgets allocated to environmental programs
Monitor environmental non-compliance and required corrective actions
Report information to supervisor
Prepare patent applications
Provide consulting services to government and other organizations
Provide information to the public through newspaper and magazine columns, articles and radio commentaries
Use direct reading meters to measure levels of light, heat, noise and radiation
Project management
Monitor air, water and soil quality
