The Ministry of Social Services, Corporate Services in Yorkton is looking for a reliable and positive team player to join the Administrative Services team to provide unit support for various Ministry programs. In this position, you will be responsible to utilize computers to : compile reports and documents, compose or edit brief, routine correspondence such as letters and memos; run reports and creates spreadsheets; enter and retrieve data using internal software programs; keep records and retrieve or search for files. You will also be required to maintain office equipment; monitor supplies; receive, sort, or distribute mail; review, respond to and route inquiries; schedule meetings and travel arrangements, maintain a fleet of government vehicles; and provide reception services to relay general program information.

To be successful in this position, you must be focused, efficient and dedicated to working in a team environment. You will also have knowledge of general office processes, protocol, and procedures and be proficient in utilizing common software programs.

Typically, the knowledge required for this position is obtained through the completion of an office education program and / or several years’ experience in administration support roles.
