Are you looking to develop a career as a technician? TGS is currently hiring for a Field Appliance Technician Apprentice, and we will train you.
This position is responsible for being the face of Trans Global Service, demonstrating enthusiasm while ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction!
Responsibilities
- Assist senior technicians with in-home appliance repairs
- Provide customers with courteous and professional in-home servicing of major appliances ensuring adherence to “The Perfect Call”
- Develop skills in conducting appliance diagnostics and complete repairs
- Order parts and ensure inventory supply levels are sufficiently maintained
- Manage local parts inventory including assistance with truck stock
- Provide information to assist customers in obtaining optimum performance of their products
- Complete all service documentation, describing repairs in detail and reporting identification of repaired stock
- Ensure the proper maintenance of shop tools and vehicles
- Adhere to all health and safety, security, building and departmental procedures
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalentComfort with hand tools and the ability to learn to read schematicsValid driver’s license (must be able to provide a clean driving abstract)Outstanding Customer Service skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProfessional and courteous phone etiquetteHighly developed technical, investigative, and analytical skillsPunctuality and dependability a mustMust be organized and detail orientedAppliance Technician certification or willingness to obtain oneDomestic Appliance or Gas Technician 2 Certification would be considered an assetWhy Trans Global?
