Apex Systems is a IT staffing and consulting firm and we are looking for a Senior Business Analyst with strong communication and requirement gathering skills in the Investment Management domain, experience on Digital projects, and experience working on Agile teams to place at our client, a Big Five Bank.

Client: Big Five Bank

Contract: 1 Year rolling contract.

Job Description

The responsibilities of this Senior Business Analyst role includes: liaising with business users to analyze requirements and translate business needs into functional specification for development and testing; perform research through internal systems as well as public sources such as Bloomberg and the Internet in general. Assisting development with analysis of backlog items and working closely with the business on project tracking and SDLC management specifically for a Digital Investment platform

Key Qualifications:

• Ability to speak with Investment Management business stakeholders and also collaborate and discuss requirements with technology stakeholders
• 5+ years of Wealth Management/Capital Markets experience; Understanding of self-serve investing platforms, investment management, ETFs etc.
• 8+ years of Business Analyst experience working at enterprise financial corporations
• Experience with JIRA
• Experience with Agile Development.
• Experience working on Digital projects

Soft Skills:

• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as a team member
• Ability to work through backlogs and create solutions pro-actively
