Civil Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager to spearhead our critical infrastructure projects. This role is essential for delivering vital services that form the backbone of communities, focusing specifically on water, wastewater, and bridge projects. You will be the central figure in guiding these complex civil projects from the initial concept through to successful completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and reliability.

Responsibilities

Assume full accountability for project delivery, managing budgets, costs, schedules, and generating precise monthly financial forecasts.

Oversee all phases of the project life cycle, from initiation and planning through to execution and successful closeout.

Serve as the primary point of contact, coordinating effectively with clients, design teams, site superintendents, subcontractors, and other key stakeholders.

Structure and lead project teams, delegating tasks and guiding their efforts to ensure all deliverables meet or exceed project specifications.

Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment that encourages problem-solving and professional growth.

Qualifications

A minimum of 4+ years of progressive experience in a project management role within civil construction, working for a mid-sized or large general contractor.

Essential, non-negotiable experience leading construction projects for wastewater facilities and bridges.

A post-secondary degree or diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (an equivalent combination of direct field experience and education will be considered).

Demonstrated leadership ability with a proven, hands-on approach to managing teams from project inception to completion.

A proactive, self-starting attitude combined with excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

Willingness and ability to travel to various project sites as required by project demands.
