Medical Science Liaison (Bilingual)
Location : Anywhere in Canada

For this purpose, the Medical Scientific Liaison is a key internal expert, providing a field-based scientific and clinical support to healthcare professionals to maintain a high level of medical, scientific, and technical knowledge and expertise in relation to Dermatology & Aesthetics.
Job Responsibilities
Provide scientific support to the field-based salesforce, behaving as a credible partner to support their immediate needs through non-promotional trainings, education, presentations, and other engagement.
- Develop and maintain professional and trustful relationships with key opinion / thought leaders(KOLs / KTLs) and academic centers to ensure access to current medical and scientific information on areas of therapeutic interest.
- Develop, maintain and share internally and externally an in-depth knowledge of Dermatology / Skin disorders.
- Deliver credible scientific and medical presentations to physicians, healthcare providers and other stakeholders as needed.
- Identify, Develop and maintain contact with local, regional and national key opinion leaders and experts through internally approved field engagement plans
- Contribute to identify physicians, investigators, healthcare providers and adminisrative stakeholders requiring support from medical scientific liaison and with the aim to increase the diversity profiles of our, KOLs / KTLs, HCPs so that we better meet the needs of every skin story.
- Provide field-based support to assist Medical Information in dealing with enquiries.
- Maintain knowledge and awareness of clinical research and publications in the Dermatology &Aesthetics’ fields.
- Act as an internal scientific expert for Galderma integrated dermatology products and areas of interest “Bringing the Science to life” for internal and external Audiences, including training external speakers on content for promotional events sales force training and at advisory boards when needed.
- Gather and generate actionable insights through : Attend congresses, engage with external stakeholders, stay current in relevant scientific literature, track Influencers on social media, prepare summaries, and present key perspectives to Galderma teams including competitor analyses.
- Support Galderma research by identifying investigators, undertaking scientific exchange and providing feedback and insight to medical and clinical teams
- Respond to unsolicited requests for medical and scientific information
Minimum Requirements
Medical, Pharmacy or higher degree qualification (e.g. MSc, PhD) in a relevant life sciences fieldDermatology / Immunology-Biologics experienceProven several years related medical and / or research and development experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical devices industryDemonstrable experience of developing and presenting scientific / medical content at a variety of levels, including to practicing clinical peers and seniorsGood communication and presentation skillsMeeting planning and facilitation skills and Ability to interface effectively with a variety of technical platformsBilingualWhat we offer in return
