Our rapidly expanding client is seeking a hands‑on Accounting Analyst to join their growing finance team. This role is ideal for an analytical professional who enjoys working with financial data, supporting business decisions, and is also comfortable managing Accounts Payable operations. You’ll play a key role in strengthening financial processes, supporting month‑end close, and helping build scalable systems in a high‑growth environment.

Key Responsibilities :
Prepare, analyze, and report on financial data to support management decision-making.Assist in the preparation of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.Support month-end close activities, including preparing journal entries (accruals, reclasses), performing account reconciliations, cash flow support, and variance analysis.Manage the full Accounts Payable cycle, including invoice processing, three-way matching, GL coding, vendor reconciliations, and payment processing.Complete reconciliations across subledgers (AP, AR, inventory) to the General Ledger, resolving discrepancies and clearing suspense accounts.Support cash flow management through AP aging analysis, identifying critical vendors, and monitoring payment commitments.Participate in process improvements, financial clean‑up initiatives, and the implementation of new systems following recent acquisitions.Identify and correct issues with existing records, bank accounts, and payment processes, recommending improvements where possible.Qualifications :
2+ years of experience in an Analyst role with exposure to Accounts PayableCPA designation (in progress or willingness to pursue) is considered an assetStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and trendsComfortable working in a fast‑paced, evolving, startup‑like environmentMotivated to build, improve, and document processes from the ground upTo be eligible for this role, you must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
