Summer Break Camp: June 29 – August 28, 2026

St. Michaels University School’s External Programs Department offers an array of educational enrichment programs for all students. During holiday periods (winter, spring, summer breaks), the programs provide a learning experience for students aged 5-16 that emphasize skill development, cooperation, participation, and fun.
The Position:
Reporting to the After School Care (ASC) and Camps Coordinator, the Art Camp Leader will play a key role in delivering creative and engaging experiences for campers. This role is responsible for creating a safe, positive and inspiring environment through thoughtful and developmentally appropriate art programming. The scope of the position includes planning and teaching art activities for campers aged 5 to 14. The Art Camp Leader will collaborate with other camp leaders, support a smooth daily schedule, and communicate with parents when required.
Art Programs: Provide hands on art instruction for campers through drawing, painting, mixed media, sculptural projects, and creative craft-based activities. Adapt lessons to different ages and skill levels. Support an environment where campers explore creativity and take pride in their work.
February 19, 2026: Orientation
February 20 to August 27, 2026: Casual hours as needed to prepare for camp.
Monday to Friday, June 29 to August 28, 2026: 8:30am to 4:30pm with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break.
