Description de poste12-hour rotational shifts : 8 am - 8 pm and 8 pm - 8 am Work 36 hours for two weeks and 48 hours the next, averaging 40 hours per week Read diagrams and schematics to determine work procedures Diagnose, troubleshoot, and propose corrective actions Maintain and repair loom parts using hand and power tools Inspect machinery to detect and fix irregularities Perform routine maintenance and cleaning Assemble machinery and equipment Conduct warp-outs and style changes as needed Collaborate with supervisors and team members to implement production changes and train new employees Grade 12 or equivalent Vocational training in industrial machinery repair, Industrial Mechanic / Millwright, Welding, Fitting, or textile-specific training in Weaving or machinery repair 1+ year experience as a loom fixer or in a similar industrial manufacturing role Strong electro-mechanical skills Good mathematical ability Experience in quality assurance and troubleshooting Ability to work independently and as part of a team Sound judgment and problem-solving skills Familiarity with Sulzer flat looms is an asset
