Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst with experience in the Healthcare industry using HL7 FHIR, FHIR Implementation Guides, Healthcare Claims and EOBs, Insurance Eligibility, and knowledge of Azure Health Data Services. The role requires collaboration across diverse teams and strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to ask the right questions and deliver actionable insights. The ideal candidate will understand healthcare interoperability via APIs, possess advanced technical data analysis skills, and have a proven track record of handling complex data patterns.

Key Responsibilities

• Create data mappings of healthcare data to HL7 FHIR defined resources that will be consumed within Liquid templates.
• Develop reference data mappings of source reference data to the HL7 FHIR reference set (e.g., Gender, ICD‑10‑CM, CPT, etc.).
• Determine which mappings fit into the core profile and which require extensions.
• Present and justify the logic of the mappings to the development team.
• Extract data from APIs as needed.
• Consult the development team on Azure Healthcare Data Services performance and related questions.
