We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer with strong project engineering expertise to join our sonar and sonobuoy systems team. This role involves leading design and integration projects for underwater acoustic systems, ensuring compliance with internal / external standards and operational requirements.

Nationality Requirements

Candidates must be eligible to obtain the relevant security clearance required for the role, due to the nature of the programmes we deliver for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership :

• Working closely with the Project Manager, serve as the technical lead for sonar and / or sonobuoy engineering project(s) assigned from concept through delivery.
• Responsible for turning RFPs / Statement of Work / Procurement Specifications into a technical resource plan, then monitor, update, and control the plan and team during execution.
• Drive creation and execution of project schedules, budgets, and resource plans in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.

Typically, Bachelor degree in a related field and 6+ years experience within a relevant complex engineering environment. May be required to maintain security clearance.
