Technical Recruiter

100% Onsite - Waterloo, ON

We at DevStaff are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Technical Recruiter to join our team in Waterloo, Ontario. This role will start as an on-site position to ensure comprehensive training during the probationary period, with the potential to transition into a hybrid model based on performance. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a solid understanding of technical roles, and the ability to work effectively over the phone (OTP) 100% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Screen resumes for technical qualifications and cultural fit.
• Conduct pre-screening calls and interviews using structured methods.
• Perform technical and behavioural assessments during interviews.
• Negotiate with candidates on pay, scheduling, and benefits.
• Present shortlisted candidates to clients and coordinate interviews.
• Update CRM / ATS (applicant tracking systems) based on candidate interviews.
• Maintain clear communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
• Complete background and reference checks on candidates.
