The Opportunity

RVS invites applications for the on-call, casual position of Support Substitute (Receptionist / Learning Commons Facilitator) for the 2025-2026 school year . Support substitutes are called to work on an as needed basis, at any of our schools.

You must be available to work throughout the 2025-2026 school year, be accessible by telephone and internet, and provide your own transportation. Interviews will be held in person or via Zoom on an as needed basis.

Successful candidates will posses :

• Positive references
• Outstanding interpersonal and verbal / written communication skills
• Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to keep up-to-date with changing technology
• Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as cooperatively with a team of educational professionals
• Understanding of and commitment to supporting learning initiatives
• Ability to work with other staff members to create a positive, safe, and optimal learning environment
• Capacity to establish a rapport with students
