Sales Representative

We currently have an exciting opportunity as a Sales Representative for our Mechanical Sales Team in Ontario. The sales territory primarily covers Ottawa - Kingston and select markets across the region . The successful candidate ideally resides within Ottawa Region and will be working remotely. Job Summary

The successful candidate will manage the sales activity for Mechanical Customers (Plumbing / HVAC / Industrial) in Ottawa / Eastern Ontario . This will include calling on IPEX distributors, mechanical / HVAC / industrial contractors, specifying engineers, developers, and inspectors.

Principal Responsibilities

• Become a trusted advisor to all industry stakeholders by offering technical and overall market expertise
• Develop long-term relationships with distributors, contractors, & engineers and secure their commitment to our products
• Protect existing IPEX market as well as grow share by converting contractors & engineers from traditional metal piping systems to IPEX Mechanical Systems
• Promote IPEX products at industry trade shows, distributor training sessions, engineering lunch & learns, and contractor installation trainings
• Investigate and follow up on sales leads and potential new markets
• Collaborate with and support IPEX sales colleagues to achieve Team objectives
• Work closely with IPEX Customer Service, Innovation, Marketing, and Product Management
• Track sales activity in CRM, provide monthly market reports, and contribute to forecasting & market share exercises
