Were seeking a dedicated Accounting Manager to join our established and thriving client in Dartmouth NS. This permanent position requires proven organizational skills agility in dynamic environments effective teamwork capabilities and excellent communication and leadership conducted in a positive and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities for the Job:

• Complete full cycle accounting processes
• Financial reporting
• Cash reconciliations
• Bank reconciliations and deposits
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Payroll processing
• Evaluate analyze and recommend process improvements
• Month-end and year-end processes
• Support HR initiatives and play an active role in hiring and training of staff

Skills & Attributes for Success:

• Post-secondary education in accounting business or finance
• 5 years relevant full cycle accounting experience
• CPA designation would be considered an asset but is not required
• Up to date knowledge of accounting systems software and government regulations
• Strong organizational problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Professional concise and adaptable communication skills
• Open minded and flexible approach with a hands-on approach
