Would you like to work for a recession-proof employer that is growing because of new technology and expansion? We have partnered with a great employer in the GTA, and we are looking to add junior maintenance technicians to their team.

We want to hear from you if you have experience working in the Food / Beverage manufacturing industry.

Advantages

  • Rotating Continental Shift 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am averaging 42.5 hours a week

Responsibilities

  • Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility equipment.
  • Provide emergency / unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
  • Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair of production machines.
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties
  • Works collaboratively and professionally with all management and colleagues.
  • Qualifications

  • 3+ years of previous experience in the food / pharmaceutical / plastics industry
  • Tetra Pak or experience from a Liquid / Beverage industry is considered a big asset
  • Strong technical knowledge of conveyor and packaging equipment.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
  • Ability to work independently to troubleshoot and diagnose plant equipment
