Full Stack Developer

Job Title : Full Stack Developer (candidate should be stronger in Java than UI Dev)

Location : Montreal (day 1 onboarding onsite / in-office presence required 3x / week)

Years of experience : 3-5

Roles and Responsibilities

Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to develop creative solutions to meet business requirements
Work effectively as an individual contributor and as part of a global cross-functional team
Develop intuitive, modern, and responsive applications with an emphasis on high quality user experience for our clients
Write clean & maintainable code with a focus on testing, performance & security
Adhere to development standards including code reviews, high unit test code coverage and proper regression tests
Take part in full software lifecycle from analysis, development, testing, to release and deployment
Implement monitoring and observability best practices

Requirements

Proficiency with backend web application technologies (Java, Springboot, J-Unit, REST APIs, relational databases)

Strong interest in learning more in frontend technologies (Typescript, Angular, CSS)

Knowledge of application architecture and design

Understanding of software engineering best practices
