We have partnered with a Canadian based organization designed to support those in the energy sector. This non-profit is seeking an Operations Specialist (Operations & Database Administrator) to join their team.

Our downtown client, a membership-based association in the energy sector, is looking for a technically driven professional to take ownership of their databases—maintaining accurate activity statistics and delivering online training resources with the end user in mind.

The ideal candidate will be technically inclined—comfortable “speaking geek”—and able to collaborate closely with the developer on updates, change requests, and QA / QC.

This role is equal parts data, technology, and people. The successful candidate will act as the bridge between technical requirements and member-facing communication, collaborating with developers and vendors while supporting members and committees.

Duties and Responsibilities :

The key job functions are :

• Manage and maintain multiple databases, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and functionality.
• Provide support and training to members, addressing questions and enhancing the user experience.
• Collaborate with developers on updates, change requests, QA / QC, and performance optimization.
• Oversee data submissions, reporting, and audits to ensure % accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate reporting, invoicing, and tracking processes, ensuring transparency and consistency.
• Liaise with vendors to resolve inquiries, verify deliverables, and manage service expectations.
• Support committee administration, permit processes, and receivables reporting.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency in database management.
