Position Overview:
Lambert Nemec Group is partnering with a respected and innovative organization in their search for a Senior Financial Analyst. This is an exceptional opportunity for a detail-oriented and strategically minded professional to take a leading role in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis. The Senior Financial Analyst will work closely with leadership, providing insights that inform critical business decisions and contribute to the organization’s continued growth and success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately record daily accounting transactions and ensure financial data integrity.
- Collaborate with the Assistant Controller to complete month-end processes, including reconciliations, reporting, and variance analysis.
- Prepare and distribute detailed financial reports that support operational and strategic decision-making.
- Assist in the development of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, providing actionable insights to leadership.
- Maintain open communication with colleagues across multiple locations, including remote offices, on accounting matters.
- Support inventory counting and prepare related financial reporting.
- Provide ad-hoc analysis to deliver value-added insights and recommendations.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and assist with automation initiatives.
- Mentor junior finance team members to strengthen analytical and reporting capabilities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Active enrollment in the CPA PEP program and progress toward CPA designation.
- Strong attention to detail and high degree of accuracy in all work.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications; experience with finance software (e.g., Sage 300) preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities.
- Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to take initiative.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong organizational skills and capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively.
