Are you an experienced Executive Assistant looking for a stimulating new challenge within a stable industrial SME in Montreal? We are currently seeking an Executive Assistant to fill a strategic permanent position following a retirement. This Executive Assistant role is crucial to the smooth running of daily operations and offers a unique opportunity to support senior management in a dynamic environment.

As an Executive Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating administrative activities. This position requires a high degree of autonomy and the ability to manage shifting priorities. Working in the business administration sector demands exemplary rigor and an outstanding sense of organization.

Bilingualism is essential for this Executive Assistant position. Approximately 50% of tasks will be performed in English, primarily to communicate with partners located outside of Quebec on a regular basis. Proficiency in both English and French is therefore an indispensable prerequisite to ensure the fluidity of the company's international exchanges.

Responsibilities

  • Manage complex executive calendars and coordinate strategic meetings.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between executive management and external partners.
  • Prepare and proofread documents, reports, and presentations in both French and English.
  • Organize business travel and related transportation logistics.
  • Monitor administrative files and ongoing special projects.
  • Collaborate closely with other business administration departments.
  • Ensure deadlines are met and strictly maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in an Executive Assistant role or similar.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills in both French and English.
  • College or university degree in business administration or a related field.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage stress and multiple priorities.
  • Previous experience in the industrial sector (an asset).
