Adecco is currently hiring a full-time detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant to support our client's team in Scarborough, ON. In this role you will excel in organization, communication, and multitasking, providing seamless administrative support to ensure efficient office operations.

  • Responsibilities :

  • Answer phones and direct callers accordingly or address any queries
  • Retrieve messages - general mailbox
  • Greet claimants and visitors to the office
  • Receive couriers and distribute appropriately (date stamp all incoming documentation)
  • Send outgoing mail and couriers
  • Contact transportation company at the end of an assessment
  • Acquire signatures on Consent Forms and review photo ID prior to an assessment
  • Maintain Assessment Log (time in and time out)
  • Chaperoning assessments
  • Maintaining examination rooms and public areas
  • Assessment Appointment Confirmations and follow up on Consent Forms
  • Sending Appointment Letters and Notices
  • Conducting Reminder Calls for Appointments
  • Compiling and Sending Medical Documentation to Assessors
  • Other administrative support, as required
  • Qualifications :

  • Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 - Word, Excel, Outlook and Adobe Acrobat / Reader
  • Ability to communicate well in English by phone and email
  • Strong organizational and prioritizing skills and effective time management skills required
  • Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Accuracy and attention to detail in tasks
  • Knowledge of the rehabilitation and independent medical sector an asset, but not required
