Technology Solutions is responsible for the development, implementation and support of trading and operational systems at TD Securities.

We support these applications for Front Office, Operations, Middle Office, Market Risk, Credit Management and downstream systems in Enterprise Technology Solutions.

Position Overview IT Senior Support Analyst, Payments and RefData

This role is primarily responsible for providing RTB support for Banking Operations technology applications in a 24x7 follow the sun global support environment.

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide high quality application and user support to ensure IT systems availability, reliability, and performance that support business processes globally
• Perform proactive application health checks to prevent potential failures
• Manage the Incident through to completion. Engage various IT teams in resolving incidents efficiently and effectively.
• Perform effective problem management on recurring incidents. Lead and manage problems throughout the lifecycle.
• Ensure problem resolutions are released in production on-time and with high quality.
• Ensure all changes to the Production Environment follow the TD Securities Change management process.
• Ensure change activities are performed on time, minimizing risk to the service / business environment
• Proactively review IT environment to ensure that steps are taken to support new IT related regulations and address gaps in the procedure
• Perform scheduled activities such as DR testing, user attestations, remediation of control audit, etc.
• Update knowledge-based articles on timely manner and conduct trainings across regions.
• Develop and maintain relationships with Client(s), Relationship Managers and Project Managers.
• Work effectively as a team, supporting other team members in achieving project / business objectives and providing client services.
• Support a positive work environment that promotes customer service, quality, innovation and teamwork and ensure timely communication of issues / points of interest.
• Provide after- hours support if required

Job Requirements

Specific Requirements :

• Experience in Banking Operations technologies such as payments, reconciliation, settlements and confirmations. Familiar with Bottomlines GTExchange, SAG (Swift Alliance Gateways), SWP, Accurate Reconciliation from Fiserv
• Practical working experience in multi-tier applications support.
• Practical experience of support both Physical, and VMware environments
• Understanding of financial markets and products.
• Must have experience working with developers, business analysts, and infrastructure support teams.
• Experience in scripting, automation and process improvement
• Strong understanding of ITIL Incident Management, Problem Management and Change Management.
• Working experience with the technologies like Linux RH, Windows Server, Oracle, SQL, Python and Java

Skills Category

• Experience in Linux, Oracle, MS SQL DB, ITRS, Autosys, Dynatrace, Splunk
• Knowledge of cloud technologies, including Azure
• Knowledge of Scripting, SQL and / or experience in programming languages such as Java and Python
• Strong in writing SQL (data retrieval / update / inserts) on DB2 / Oracle / MS SQL Server
• Knowledge of IT project & development lifecycles (SDLC), agile methodology, and ITIL
• Experience in messaging, middleware, Java application servers
• Computer science or Mathematics degree desired
