The position will be responsible for coordinating the distribution of all sample requests for the various business team units as required. The individual will organize and manage an inventory of samples at all times to fill requests in a timely manner and will request samples from Production (liquid or dry blends) or suppliers that are non-stock items, as well as conduct data analysis and generate reports. The individual will work closely with Sales across all regions and Production (Mississauga).

MAJOR TASKS AND DUTIES :

• Responsible to organize sample requests, process the required paperwork and prepare the samples for delivery to customers within target timelines
• Source samples from internal warehouse to fulfill sample requests
• Manage the sample room inventory, including dispose of expired samples promptly, decide the amount of samples to be stocked and proactively stock sample library based the current pricing book and the frequency of each item requested.
• Contact suppliers to request samples; follow up on the pending samples; build and maintain good relationships with suppliers;
• Generate samples reports and PPT to be presented to the commercial and sales team in order to share samples results, bottlenecks etc.
• Provide technical documentation with samples as required
• Communicate with internal sales, commercial, R&D and Quality team in order to improve service level
• Assist the Samples Supervisor with CI projects
• Conduct periodical cycle-count in order to maintain sample inventory accuracy
• Courier samples as required, including international shipments
• Maintain, organized, clutter free and neat work area
• Complete all other duties as assigned
