Job Title : HVAC / Sheet Metal Installation Technician Job Description

We are seeking two skilled HVAC / Sheet Metal Installation Technicians with experience in commercial or residential new construction projects. As a technician, you will use hand and power tools to cut, punch, flange, shear, and solder sheet metal ducts and parts, ensuring precise dimensions and reference lines on metal sheets.

Responsibilities

• Use hand and power tools to cut, punch, flange, shear, and solder sheet metal ducts and parts.
• Locate and mark dimensions and reference lines on metal sheets.
• Select appropriate gauge and type of sheet metal based on product specifications and metal knowledge.
• Lay out openings and coordinate with other trades.
• Efficiently complete projects and tasks while maintaining high standards of workmanship.

Work Environment

The workday starts on-site at 7 : 00 am and ends at 3 : 30 pm, including two paid 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute unpaid lunch. You will work alongside 1-3 other HVAC installers and about 10-15 plumbers, fostering a strong sense of teamwork and camaraderie. The team values efficiency and everyone contributes to maintaining a clean workspace.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of St. Albert, AB.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00 / hr.
