About The Role

Vitacore Industries Inc. is looking for an in-house Programmer / Software Developer whose hybrid role will work closely with IT, Engineering, and R&D teams to enhance our operational and scientific research capabilities. The successful candidate will develop and integrate systems to improve business operations, automate processes using MS365 and in-house tools, and support scientific and robotic programming in Python. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from enhancing process flows to developing solutions for scientific robotics.

Responsibilities

• Design PCBs and PCBAs for sensors, robotics, and integrated devices.
• Develop and optimize firmware for PIC or ESP32 microcontrollers.
• Collaborate with teams of engineers and scientists to integrate microcontrollers and associated electronics with systems, devices, and robotics, including sensors and actuators.
• Implement AI and automation solutions to handle repetitive tasks, improving productivity while minimizing human error.
• Design, develop, and maintain efficient and scalable web applications and services using PHP, Python, JavaScript, PLC, and C.
• Work with MySQL and PostgreSQL databases to build robust, secure, and optimized data storage solutions.
• Develop and maintain applications using CodeIgniter and Node.js frameworks.
• Utilize Vite and Tailwind CSS to build responsive and performance-optimized front-end interfaces.
• Develop and integrate systems to streamline operations and improve process efficiency across the organization.
• Automate repetitive tasks and processes to enhance productivity and reduce human error.
• Work closely with various departments to understand their technology needs and develop bespoke solutions.
• Manage and optimize IT infrastructure, ensuring robustness and reliability.
• Serve as a liaison between operational needs and IT capabilities, ensuring seamless integration of new systems.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and technology upgrades.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for developed systems and IT infrastructure.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and software development practices to drive innovation within the company.
