Family Physician - House Officer - St. Paul's Hospital & Royal University Hospital

Overview

Family Physician - House Officer position at St. Paul’s Hospital & Royal University Hospital. Two House Officers provide in-house coverage to all medicine in-patients between 17 : 00-08 : 00, 7 days per week. Consultation support is received from specialists and sub-specialists.

Remuneration and Schedule

• Remuneration : $3,511.05 per night of service – 17 : 00-08 : 00 hours (pro rated for partial shifts at a rate of $234.07 per hour)
• Part-time House Officer : 5-7 shifts per month
• Casual House Officer : 3-4 shifts per month

The College of Medicine has an intake of 100 students per year with a commensurate number of positions for residency training.
