Description de posteBachelor in Civil Engineering, OIQ member; 5 to 10 years of experience in structural design or temporary structures; ASP construction card; Knowledge of design software (AutoCAD) and MS Office; Access to a vehicle; French, functional English (clients in Ontario).
Our client, a civil engineering and construction company, is looking for a Structural Engineer, (50% site work and 50% office work).
- Design access structures and installation plans, and custom parts as needed;
- Prepare calculation notes;
- Inspect structures before use and prepare letters of compliance;
- Assist in R & D to create new products and improve designs;
- Participate in the bidding phase with the sales department;
- Attend preliminary project visits and meetings as needed, analyze site surveys and participate in preliminary designs and ensure project feasibility;
- Coordinate and conduct resistance tests;
- Develop safety systems for certain projects;
- Work closely with all departments.
