Develop your professional sales / demand planning and inventory management skills with direct exposure to senior leaders in the Toys and Retail Industry. We are currently looking for a Demand Planning Manager to be responsible for sales planning and demand forecasting of Amazon accounts across multiple geographies. You will report to the VP of Demand Planning & Inventory Management. If you are proactive, have strong critical thinking & problem-solving skills, excel at identifying trends & deriving actionable insights from data, can take full ownership with limited supervision, can prioritize tasks on hand, and can comfortably work in a cross-functional role, in a fast-paced team environment then this could be a great fit for you! Your role…Drive primary and secondary sales by efficiently planning and forecasting demand to : Manage end-to-end Supply Chain, sales & inventory planning for your assigned Amazon regional accountsCreate Annual Business plans & manage forecast negotiations with Amazon business partnersCreate short term to 18 month rolling forecast using historical sales data, promotional planning information, new product launch plans, and other decision variables identifiedAnalyze weekly sales reports, use them to monitor recent sales performance, identify root-cause analysis for forecasting deltas and adjust short and long-term forecastsIdentify slow moving inventory, recommend turnaround strategy and advise sales team regarding appropriate promotional and mark-down strategiesCollaborate with marketing teams on digital media spend & promotional planningMaintain excellent relationship with the Amazon's planning & supply chain teamsAssist our Logistics and Merchandising team with Purchase Order issuance, Ship dates planning etc.Maintain a good knowledge of competitors products on multiple marketplaces, identify category gaps and recommend product development strategy based on trends What we're looking for…University or college degree in business, science / engineering (MBA is an asset)3-5 years in Sales, demand planning, inventory management, or other relevant experience (demand planning / Forecasting for Amazon account is a plus)Excellent knowledge of English (oral & written) to deal with the foreign divisions and international customersStrong aptitude for numbers, patterns, and forecasting and must have expertise in handling, analyzing & deriving meaningful and actionable insights from dataStrong Excel fundamentals are required (PowerBI experience will be an asset)Knowledge about digital analytics, conversion metrics and SEO optimization is a plusAbility to build and maintain excellent internal, cross-functional working relationships Curious?
