Position Summary

UNISUS School is seeking a Middle Years Teacher to teach Grades 89 beginning in September 2025. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality instruction in Mathematics Science and Social Studies fostering conceptual understanding problem-solving skills and curiosity about the world. This teacher will have an exceptional skill set for Math instruction helping prepare students for the rigorous IB Diploma Programme.

Experience with the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) is an asset but is not required . Candidates with experience teaching middle school Math Science and Social Studies in other recognized curricula are strongly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging student-centered instruction in Math and Science for Grades 89
• Encourage inquiry-based learning critical thinking and real-world application of concepts
• Assess and evaluate student learning using formative and summative methods
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide timely constructive feedback
• Support students social emotional and academic development
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure curriculum alignment and student success
• Communicate effectively with parents and participate in conferences
• Participate in professional development co-curricular activities and school events
