Senior Software Developer

PulseMedica is seeking a Senior Software Developer to help build the next generation of ophthalmic imaging and treatment technology. In this role, you’ll design, develop, and maintain high-performance software using modern C++ and React.js, contributing to a cutting‑edge medical device platform that is redefining eye care.

The Opportunity

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, and maintaining software applications using modern C++ and React.JS.
• Implementing and managing multi‑threading in software projects.
• Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to define, design, and implement new features.
• Ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Participating in code reviews and maintaining high standards of code quality.
• Solve complex problems and contribute to the continuous improvement of our software systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience with modern C++.
• Strong knowledge and experience with multi‑threading.
• Proven expertise in software design and architecture.
• Experience working with complex multi‑disciplinary systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Excellent time‑management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Additional Qualifications

• Experience in the medical device industry.
• Familiarity with React.JS.
• Knowledge of image processing techniques.
• Experience with machine learning.
• Experience with 3‑D rendering.
• Experience with embedded SW development
