Our client requires a Windows End-Point Deployment Analyst to be responsible for complex work related to the design, implementation, and management of Windows enterprise desktop environments. This role is responsible for creating standardized desktop images; developing and implementing patch management and application deployment strategies; and ensuring that desktop environments are stable, secure, and up-to-date. The role is also responsible for Active Directory Group Policy design, and network and security configuration for the desktop environment.

Work is 100% onsite in Regina, SK.

Mandatory Requirements

  • MUST have minimum eight (8) years’ experience desktop engineering or a related field supporting a large scale (1000+ endpoints), mission critical enterprise in a 24×7 operating environment.
  • A recognized bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Must be able to lift packages of up to 25 lbs.

Desirable Requirements

Technical Skills :

  • SCCM administration & Patching SCCM Environment
  • Experience in creating and maintaining standardized windows images.
  • Windows Application Packaging & Task Sequences, Windows Installer, MSI and MSIX.
  • Microsoft SQL scripting, queries & reporting expertise
  • Microsoft SCCM imaging & software deployment
  • PowerShell Scripting
  • Managing Microsoft Updates with SCCM (Patch Tuesday)
  • Windows 10 / 11 Technical Experience
  • Experience Managing Microsoft Applocker Policies
  • Experience with Active Directory Group Policy design, configuration, management.
  • Desktop & Laptop Computer Configuration, Troubleshooting & Repairs
  • Desired Configuration Management (DCM) experience
  • Experience working within Incident, Change and Problem Management processes.
  • Other Skills / Abilities :

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience Computer Support (Tier 2)
  • CompTIA A+
  • Basic knowledge of network troubleshooting Ethernet and IP configuration
  • Experience with Lenovo Desktops & Notebooks
  • Experience with Panasonic Ruggedized Toughbooks for field workers
