Responsibilities

• Architect, design, develop, and support business solutions leveraging SAP BW 7.5 and SAP BW / 4HANA 2021 / 2023.
• Demonstrate industry‑specific business process knowledge and familiarity with enterprise strategies and objectives.
• Proactively identify process improvements and define clear, concise solutions.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with diverse business, functional, and technical teams.
• Communicate complex solutions effectively to non‑technical stakeholders and apply smart design techniques.
• Testing & Validation (Upgrade‑Focused) : plan and execute comprehensive validations across lower environments (DEV / QA / UAT) for the BW / 4HANA upgrade.
• Investigate and remediate any upgrade‑related issues discovered in lower environments; coordinate with SAP Support (e.g., OSS notes / service desk) as needed to resolve defects.
• Prepare detailed test scripts covering data models, ETL / replication, process chains, queries / Analysis for Office (AO) workbooks, authorizations, and scheduling.
• Record and track test execution and defects in the tool (e.g., HP ALM), ensuring prompt updates, reproducible steps, evidence, and closure notes.
• Lead or contribute to cutover rehearsals, performance / regression tests, and data reconciliation between BW / 4HANA and source / target systems.
• Provide clear go / no‑go input based on test outcomes and documented risk assessments.
