Family Practice (200-1218) (Permanent Family Practice)

The Medical Arts Centre, located in the heart of downtown Nanaimo by the waterfront, is seeking part-time and full-time physicians to join our team. The successful candidate will support a retiring physician and will assume complex patients in addition to building their own diverse panel. The clinic is supported by excellent long-term staff. Allied health staff are on-site which include a Pharmacist, Mental Health councilors, social workers, RNs and NPs.

Medical Arts is new facility, which enjoys state of the art electronic medical records (Intrahealth) and is complimented with AccellEMR. Patients are able to book appointments online with Accession. Evening and weekend walk-in clinics have been incorporated to assist with orphaned patients in the community. Nanaimo enjoys an excellent regional hospital with good specialty support.

We are an active teaching site for the UBC Family Medicine Residency Program.
