Project

The Woodfibre LNG Project is located approximately 7 km west-southwest of Squamish British Columbia. It involves the construction and operation of a liquefied natural gas (LNG) export facility on the previous Woodfibre pulp mill site which would have a storage capacity of 250000 m3 and would produce approximately 2.1 million tons per year of LNG.

Woodfibre Management Ltd. is a privately held Canadian company based in Vancouver and a subsidiary of Pacific Energy Corporation Limited.

Position

The Management System Specialist is an integral part of Woodfibre LNGs dynamic team. Reporting to the Head of Engineering Support this role is responsible for developing implementing and sustaining Woodfibre LNGs integrated management system and ensuring processes are well-designed fit-for-purpose and consistently maintained. The position requires strong systems thinking cross-functional collaboration and the ability to translate regulatory and business requirements into effective right sized processes that enable safe reliable and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities :

The successful applicant will :

• Lead the design documentation and rollout of Woodfibre LNG facilitys management system ensuring the management system is operational for start up
• Ensure the management system aligns with regulatory requirements corporate standards and industrys best practices.
• Facilitate integration of procedures standards and governance processes across disciplines.
• Coordinate periodic reviews updates and continuous improvement of management system elements.
• Support end-users by providing training guidance and tools to enable consistent adoption of management system processes.
• Act as a focal point for audits and assurance activities ensuring evidence of compliance and continual improvement.
• Track and report on management system performance including system health checks compliance status and opportunities for optimization.
• Partner with functional teams (Operations Engineering Maintenance HSSE etc.) to ensure processes are practical efficient and embedded into day-to-day work.
• Drive simplification clarity and usability of management system documentation and supporting tools.
