The Opportunity : Postmedia has an immediate opening for a bright, curious, dedicated storyteller to join our award-winning team at The Chronicle Herald in Halifax.
What you’ll do :
- Work in a collaborative newsroom environment to find, develop and tell stories that people in Halifax care about and that affect their daily lives.
- Write short and longform stories that help readers live and thrive in one of Canada's fastest-growing cities.
- Adapt to a fast-paced, competitive environment to produce distinctive, insightful journalism that shines on all platforms, from digital to print, to emerging social media.
- Contribute to digital strategies that amplify your work and bring readers closer to the action. Think : newsletters, reader experiences, Q&As, videos, emerging social media and more.
- Build a following on social media by telling stories no one else is telling.
