Guest Service Agent Overview :

The Guest Service Agent is a fun, yet challenging role within the hotel, often the first and last point of contact for guests. Guest Service Agents have a significant impact on the overall guest experience. Due to the visibility of this role, most guests will contact the front desk to resolve questions or concerns during their stay. The Guest Service Agent must think quickly, handle multiple situations, prioritize, and multitask to ensure guest satisfaction, all with a positive and pleasant demeanor. A "can-do" attitude is essential for this role.

Responsibilities include :

• Greeting and thanking guests sincerely and warmly
• Checking in and checking out guests
• Assigning rooms and managing administrative duties
• Answering phone calls
• Posting charges to appropriate accounts
• Performing daily checklist duties
• Passing information within departments to ensure guest satisfaction
• Communicating with guests to meet their needs
