Description de poste

We are currently seeking a qualified and motivated individual for the role of Customer Service Representative for one of Canada's leading distributor and technical solutions provider industrial equipment. In this role, you will provide expert assistance to customers, addressing a variety of inquiries and challenges. Unlike traditional CSR roles, this position involves building long-term business relationships through continuous engagement and consultation. You will also play a key role in ensuring customers receive the correct parts and solutions, particularly in urgent situations involving equipment breakdowns. This role may require occasional hands-on duties, necessitating mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

  • Handling inside sales responsibilities
  • Engaging in all sales activities to drive business growth
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the company’s service offerings
  • Prospecting for new customers and effectively demonstrating product benefits
  • Building strong, ongoing relationships with customers
  • Responding to customer inquiries both in person (branch) and via phone / email
  • Providing support to the outside sales team
  • Ensuring accurate and timely order processing through the computerized system
  • Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in industrial or fluid power components sales
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic with a positive attitude
  • Strong commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • SAP experience is an asset
