Full-time Day shift Manage billing integrity for various surgical and anesthesia departments. Supervise the OR Billing office, including training, scheduling, and payroll. Support preference card management and collaborate with service line managers and OR leaders. Review clinical documentation, perform chart audits, and collaborate to improve intra-op documentation. Develop and implement documentation education plans for nursing staff. Oversee business operations, including reports and department scheduling. Validate daily billing, conduct insurance audits, and manage tissue PI reporting. Job Overview :
RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated RN Billing Coordinator for our Perioperative Services at the New Brunswick campus.
This position is responsible for the accuracy and charge capture process for Perioperative Services, including the adult and pediatric operating rooms, ambulatory surgery center, endoscopy center, and the upcoming Morris Cancer Hospital operating rooms. The role involves overseeing a team of billers and specialists, supporting all aspects of charge capture, and collaborating with Revenue Integrity and EPIC IT teams to optimize workflows and capture methods.
Qualifications : Required :
- Bachelor's of Science in Nursing.
- Familiarity with clinical billing and auditing.
