Are you a highly skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia? This is a fantastic Manufacturing & Logistics opportunity for a certified and experienced Counterbalance Forklift Operator to join a critical team in the transportation and warehousing sector. If you thrive in a fast-paced warehouse environment and are dedicated to safe material handling, this role is for you.
Job Title : Forklift Operator / Dock Worker
Location : Dartmouth, NS
Salary : $20 / hour
Shifts Available :
Days : 7AM to 3 : 30PM, Mon-Fri
Afternoons : 2PM to 10 : 30PM, Mon-Fri
Nights : 11 : 00 PM - 7 : 30AM, Mon-Fri

Responsibilities
Operate a Sit-Down Counterbalance Forklift safely and efficiently
Receive, sort, and organize incoming materials as needed
Consistently adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures
Perform routine checks to ensure equipment remains in proper working condition
Maintain a clean, orderly, and hazard-free work area
Carry out additional tasks as directed by the site supervisor
Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year recent experience in a warehouse or fast-paced distribution environment
Valid external forklift ticket is required (Sit Down Counterbalance)
Proven ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced setting
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines
Knowledge of safe lifting and handling techniques
Ability to meet physical requirements (lifting, moving products / supplies up to 50lbs, standing for long periods)
Must have Steel Toed Shoes
Positive, adaptable, and energetic attitude
Team player who can thrive in a dynamic work environment
Must be able to work the required night shift schedule
