Description de poste

Adecco is actively seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our client's team in Brampton, ON. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, handling carrier / customer paperwork, scheduling appointments, and providing administrative support in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to an essential function of the company while ensuring compliance with regulations, safety protocols, and quality standards.

  • Pay Rate : $23 / hour plus $1 Shift premium
  • Location : Brampton, ON
  • Shift : Sundays-Thursdays 11 : 00pm-7 : 00am
  • Job type : Permanent | Full-time

Responsibilities :

  • Schedule inbound and outbound carrier appointments to ensure the timely arrival and dispatch of inventory.
  • Maintain the inbound database with scheduled appointment times and update as necessary.
  • Handle and prepare Bill of Ladings, customs paperwork, and CFIA documents.
  • Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and filed correctly.
  • Communicate effectively with both internal teams and external customers via email and phone.
  • Answer inquiries from carriers and customers, providing timely updates and assistance.
  • Direct truck drivers to the appropriate doors and assign documentation upon completion.
  • Work with the Warehouse Supervisor and the Business Processes team to resolve any issues.
  • Follow all safety protocols to ensure the safe operation of the warehouse and transportation.
  • Stay compliant with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Assist in inter-company inventory transfers and shipping opportunities.
  • Support various administrative tasks such as filing, restocking, and packing paperwork for storage.

    • Requirements :

  • Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; additional certification / designation is an asset.
  • 1-2 years in a warehouse or distribution centre environment, with a focus on shipping and receiving.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills (both oral and written).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage deadlines effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve conflicts when needed.
  • A high degree of confidentiality and professionalism.
