Our team is growing and we are currently seeking qualified Field Supervisors with a Gas Fitter B ticket.
We are excited to launch a major project in the Kelowna & Lower Mainland areas and are looking for motivated individuals to join the supervisory team!
If you’re a self-starter with a positive attitude and supervisory experience, this role is perfect for you.
As a Project Supervisor, you’ll lead a team of technicians to achieve project goals. Your responsibilities will include managing the team, ensuring high-quality installations, resolving issues with problem accounts, and providing hands-on support in the field. As an integral part of the team, the Field Supervisor plays a crucial role in keeping operations running smoothly by maintaining and servicing facility equipment, upholding safety standards, and fostering a secure work environment.

Work Location : On the road
Schedule : Monday-Friday
Salary : $85,000-95,000
Gas Fitter B certification is required, along with several years of relevant experience.
Previous supervisory experience in construction or trades an asset
You are legally permitted to work Fulltime in British Columbia

Responsibilities
In the field supporting installers as needed and overseeing installations
Manage quality and warranty issues
Develop corrective measures to address quality issues around workmanship
Manage a team of up to 12 technicians to assist in corrective measures
Work with the project PM & Superintendent for any necessary duties
Any other duties which may be assigned to you from time to time by your manager
Safety audits on installers
QA audits on installations
Training new installers in the field and classroom
Support health and safety initiatives
Qualifications
2+ years of construction / trades / laborer experience
2+ years of supervisory experience
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and gas meter installations
Knowledge of regulator clearances, swing joints, relight procedures, etc pertaining to gas meter installations.
Strong mechanical aptitude and communication skills
Valid B-ticket Gas Fitter required
Valid driver’s license & reliable vehicle with insurance
Clean criminal background check & driver’s abstract
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and mathematical skills
Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Physical and Working Conditions :
Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and performing physical tasks like reaching, kneeling, and standing for long periods
Exposure to noise, dust, fumes, and weather elements
Work in a physically demanding environment (lifting, kneeling, standing)
Follow safety regulations and handle equipment
Use of personal protective equipment provided
