This role will be located in Quebec City and surrounding area.
Summary
The Sales Representative reports to the Zone Manager or designate and is responsible for driving sales within their defined territory. Critical skills include the ability to manage key relationships, prioritize sales activities open new accounts as well as maintain / service existing hardware stores, home centers, and large retail chains. They are also responsible to assist in forecasting.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Travel and visit customers in QC City to East of Province.
- Servicing, promoting, selling products in an established territory.
- Developing new accounts through prospecting and cold calling.
- Maintaining consistent call cycles with all accounts.
- Coordinating with sales manager and corporate office personnel to determine customer needs and ensure that their needs will be handled appropriately.
- Preparing documents such as plan-o-grams, orders, and pricing.
- Completing administrative duties including submitting monthly business reports, weekly sales call schedule and weekly expense report.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills (oral & written).
