Job Description
Qualifications
The Scale Clerk will be responsible for carrying out the follow‑ups related to the receiving and shipping of materials. The person is responsible for weighing the material, producing the scale tickets, and responding appropriately to customers.
What You Will Be Responsible For:
- Greeting customers
- Weighing the material
- Producing delivery slips in the software
- Answering phone calls and redirecting them when necessary
- Preparing shipping documents
- Following up on material shipments
- Producing reports
Qualifications
To join our team:
- You have at least 1 year of experience in customer service
- You have experience in the transportation field (an asset)
- You have good knowledge of Excel and the Microsoft Suite
- You are a rigorous and punctual person with strong attention to detail
- You are good at mental math
