Six Pints Collective is currently hiring for a Packaging Operator to join our team, at the brewery in Creemore, ON. Working on the packaging team and reporting to the Line Lead, Packaging. The Packaging Operator Tech is responsible for working on and operating the packaging lines (canning, and kegging) and providing general cleaning support. This position also provides relief to the production group as required.

We do things differently, and we’re looking for smart, ambitious beer champions that want to jump right in and make a difference working in an innovative, brand-led company committed to brewing premium, quality products.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Providing support all packaging lines (canning, and the racker)
  • General cleaning of packaging areas
  • Following Sanitization and Health and Safety procedures as set out by Creemore Springs Brewery
  • Other relevant duties as required by the production manager and packaging supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be 19 years of age or older
  • Must be professional, energetic and very dependable.
  • Must be available to work Monday through Friday, varied schedule: 6:00 am – 3:00 pm, 7:00 am – 4:00 pm, 10:00 am – 7:00 pm (shifts can sometimes start later in the day and run until 11:00 pm)
  • Flexible schedule to work day and afternoon shifts
  • Proven ability to work independently with strong attention to detail
  • Exposure to WHIMIS and MSDS an asset
  • Previous manufacturing experience an asset
