Description de poste

In business for over 30 years, our Client is a leader in smart building and life safety solutions. Operating in over countries, with offerings including; fire detection, alarm systems, communications, security, mass notification, smart building technologies and more. This global network fully supports solutions, from small buildings to complex applications.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Install, program, verify, and inspect fire alarm systems, access control, intercom systems, and other fire protection equipment.
  • Inspect and service our products.
  • Complete and return inspection reports promptly.
  • Provide technical support and operational training to customers.
  • Ensure a positive experience for customers and end-users.
  • Read and understand engineered drawings, specifications, and manuals.

Requirements and Skills :

  • 3+ years of experience as a Service Technician in the fire alarm industry.
  • Electronics diploma or equivalent, or documented trade qualification.
  • Canadian Fire Alarm Association (CFAA) Registration or similar qualification.
  • Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work on ladders and scaffolding.
  • Valid and clean motor vehicle license (G License).
  • Knowledge of our systems and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel are assets.
