At the Wilder Institute / Calgary Zoo, every member of our team makes a difference to conservation efforts locally and around the world with what they do. We’re looking for a motivated Zoo Veterinary Intern to join our Animal Health team.
Position Key Accountabilities :
- Under the direction of the zoo’s veterinarians, the zoological medicine intern will be trained and participate in all aspects of zoological medicine during a one-year term position.

The Wilder Institute / Calgary Zoo is an outdoor facility and all staff must be comfortable working in a large variety of outdoor conditions. The Wilder Institute / Calgary Zoo follows the advice of Environment Canada when responding to temperature and air quality issues.
