Description de posteDiploma of Vocational Studies (D.E.P) in surface treatment, aircraft mechanical assembly, aircraft structural assembly, aircraft circuit wiring assembly, welding‑assembly, or composite materials. Landing Gear Finishing Operator – Evening Shift
Safran Landing Systems, a subsidiary of Safran, is seeking a Landing Gear Finishing Operator to work at our Mirabel plant in Quebec. The role involves performing chrome, zinc‑nickel, and nickel plating operations on major landing gear components for Airbus A320 / 330 / 350 and Boeing 787 aircraft.
Responsibilities
- Installing and adjusting the anode cage or anodes on the part.
- Performing electroplating operations using chemical plating or rinsing solution tanks according to procedures.
- Monitoring parameters (amperage, duration, etc.).
- Placing the part in the dehydrogenation oven and programming the heating cycle.
- Troubleshooting technical issues when necessary.
- Inspecting the part to ensure compliance with specifications and taking necessary measures if abnormal situations are detected.
- Organizing work and scheduling tasks based on instructions received regarding priority parts.
- Consulting technical documents on the computer such as work drawings, operation sheets, procedures, and updating quality assurance documentation as needed.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of operations and achieving objectives in terms of safety, quality, costs, and on‑time deliveries.

Shift Timing
Weekend Night Shift : Friday 6 : 30 PM – 6 : 30 AM, Saturday 6 : 10 PM – 6 : 10 AM, Sunday 5 : 50 PM – 10 : 50 PM.
Note : Depending on collective agreement rules, the position may change shifts (evening, night, or weekend).
