Monthly Salary Range : MoveUp Group 08 , MIN $5,419.00  - MAX $6,497.00  is available through annual general wage / step increases.

Recruitment Range : MIN $5,419 – STEP 3 $6,008.

Placement in the salary range is determined by an assessment of knowledge, skills, experience and ability of the candidate to meet the key requirements of the job. In exceptional cases, candidates may be hired above the recruitment range, provided agreement is reached with the Union.

What you'll be doing...

Please note, this will be a Temporary Full-Time role for 12 months :

Reporting to the Manager, Digital Experience, the Web Strategist is responsible for understanding the vision of BC Transit and uses the web to advance that vision. The Web Strategist coordinates and leads the teams that maintain and develop the user interface and content on the public facing website and company Intranet and Extranet.

What you'll bring to the table...

• Related experience working with large complex websites with focus on content management systems and best practices for organizing and tagging content for the web environment
• Experience working with a variety of content management systems
• Project management experience in the development and management of websites, would be an asset
• Information Architecture and User Experience (UX) Design, would be an asset.
